Hi. I’m Brian Albert.
I’m an animation producer and storyteller from the San Francisco Bay Area.
I adhere to a strict two-step creative process:
Find a good story.
Get the darn thing done — ON TIME.
As a kid, I was always writing. Screenplays, stageplays, comic books, you name it — if I could find a way to tell a story, I told it. By the time I was in middle school, I asked my parents to sign a Location Agreement to allow me to shoot on the street of the home I lived in. Filmmaking was in my blood. Storytelling was like breathing — if I didn’t do it, I’d probably die (and I wasn’t willing to take that risk).
That led me to study Animation and Dramatic Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I honed my skills and discovered a passion for production management. Before I knew it, I had written and produced two animated short films over the course of three years, one of which (“TEASER TRAILER”) ended up being nominated for a Regional Student Emmy award!
On top of that, I’ve had the privilege of working for Fremantle US, Dream Purpose Studios, and The Kung Fu Spirit Foundation. When I’m not working, you can likely find me playing piano, listening to a podcast, lifting weights, or going dancing with my fiancée.
