Hi. I’m Brian Albert.
I’m an animation producer and storyteller from the San Francisco Bay Area.
I adhere to a strict two-step creative process:
Find a good story.
Get the darn thing done — ON TIME.
As a kid, I was always writing. Screenplays, stageplays, comic books, you name it — if I could find a way to tell a story, I told it. By the time I was in middle school, I asked my parents to sign a Location Agreement to allow me to shoot on the street of the home I lived in. Filmmaking was in my blood. Storytelling was like breathing — if I didn’t do it, I’d probably die (and I wasn’t willing to take that risk).
That led me to study Animation and Dramatic Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I honed my skills and discovered a passion laid deep inside me that I had yet to discover — spreadsheets. Before I knew it, I had produced two animated short films and over the course of three years.
Plus, I learned that I love collaborating! It brings me joy to work with different personalities and backgrounds to tell unique and engaging stories.
You can find my personal work on my YouTube channel (Balbert Animation) and my Instagram (@balbert_art). Past collaborators include Fremantle US, Dream Purpose Studios, and The Kung Fu Spirit Foundation.
